Australian Government effectively blocked Chinese Waves by creating Australian 5G network due to national security concerns

The government thinks that the participation of vendors, unauthorized access by the carrier, or the interference of the sellers under extraordinary directions from a foreign government can be a risk of failure for adequate security of the 5G network.

While China was not specifically mentioned, the announcement reflects the long-awaited decision by the Australian government on the involvement of communist country in the creation of communications infrastructure of Australia.
